Adventure in the National Park of Baluran
Adventure, it’s my hobby is difficult to stop. This time I had to accompany some of the group that does require my services. I welcomed the invitation although it must be driving the car reaches a goal for 7 hours.
Baluran, a protected forest with a variety of tropical animals. located in the easternmost part of Java island, but closer to the island of Bali. just less than 1 hour drive. a variety of wildlife is protected, to live freely and breed with the control forest officials.
Before reaching the checkpoint baluran protected forest, I was greeted with the green shades of the forest with pine and oak trees lined up neatly. The smell is very refreshing to excessive oxygen breathing. The road is uphill and down to greet me in the protected forest which is also an area of mountain slopes.
Entering the area of Baluran, I need to register at the checkpoint, must we do to remember the region there are rare trees and wildlife that we must maintain its sustainability. Baluran nature conservation area is also a center of research and development of several animal and plant habitats. Not only that, there is also the habitat of marine animals that live along the coast of Baluran, which covers the area north and east parts of Baluran.
After entering the checkpoint, the trip must go through rocky areas, and to reach a place to stay as long as it takes less than 1 hour. There are some lodgings that had been prepared for researchers and for students who want to learn some of the wildlife and rare plants. There also are monitoring tower, which is useful for visitors to observe some wild animals from a distance.
If we stay at the camp, the very loss if we do not enjoy the beautiful panorama of the sunrise on the beach Baluran. I have to get up early and went on a trip to the beach Baluran which is about 5 km from camp. I entered the beach area welcomed by hundreds of Java monkeys, the monkeys were found in the thousands to live in groups. On the beach baluran live several marine habitats, such as seaweed and some coral reefs. “Morning is beautifully decorated with the sound of birds, and some wild animals who just woke from his sleep.”
Several species of wild animals in conservation areas are Javanese tigers, bison java, wild buffalo, wolves Java, some bird species that are rare with beautiful feathers.
